The Competition Begins!
About the competition
Every year, 35 food trucks full of unique palate-pleasing cuisine will roll into Veteran’s Park and compete for prizes (including a $5,000 grand prize). The competition will have live entertainment, a beer garden, and more this August in Springfield for the Springfield Rotary Club’s Eighth Gourmet Food Truck Competition! Our contestants offer a wide variety of different foods: American comfort food like BBQ, burgers, pizza, seafood and wings, as well as African, Asian, Cajun, Greek, Hawaiian, Indian, Italian, and more. There will be dessert trucks as well offering ice cream, popsicles, and other treats.
Live entertainment will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Beer Garden will be serving domestics and local craft brews from Springfield’s own Mother Stewart’s Brewing Company in addition to soda and water.
Proceeds from the competition support our club’s projects like Services to People with Disabilities.

There is designated handicap parking at the Springfield Museum of Art as well as in the grass lot off of Plum Street.
